Instead of fumbling with two hands to release the old style flush mounted magazine release, the polymer extended magazine release makes dropping a 9-rd BX-1 with a single forward motion of the lever. The auto bolt release eliminates two-handed manipulation of the bolt lock and the guide rod handle into one motion. When cocked, pull the cocking handle to release the bolt. To lock, simply press the bolt lock tab and retract the cocking handle until it locks in a safe position. A spare B-35Pin is included in case you may easily lose one in the field.
